Privacy policy

Account data: your email address, name (if given) and sign-in details.

Tracking data: the metrics, accounts, goals, schedules, check-ins and notes you enter. This may include financial balances and health information such as weight or sleep.

Billing data: subscription status and plan. Card details are handled by Stripe and never reach us.

Usage data: basic product events (such as sign-ins and check-ins) and technical logs used to keep the service working and improve it.

Some data you choose to enter, such as weight or sleep, may be health data. We process it only because you explicitly choose to record it, and only to show it back to you. You can delete it at any time.

To provide the service (storing check-ins, drawing charts, calculating goals and streaks), to run your subscription, to send service emails you have enabled, to keep the service secure, and to understand overall usage in aggregate.

Legal bases: performance of our contract with you, your explicit consent for health data, our legitimate interests in running and improving the service, and legal obligations (for example tax records).

When you use the AI review, only computed summary statistics (such as changes and averages) are sent to our AI provider to write your summary. They are not used to train third-party models.

Only service providers who help us run Vanalis: secure cloud hosting and database, Stripe for payments, an AI provider for reviews and an email provider for reminders. They act on our instructions. Some may process data outside the UK under appropriate safeguards such as standard contractual clauses.

We do not sell your data or share it with advertisers. Your data is never visible to other users.

We keep your data while your account is open. If you downgrade, your history is kept so nothing is lost. If you delete your account, we delete your data within 30 days, except billing records we must keep by law.

Under UK GDPR you can access, correct, export, delete or restrict use of your data, object to processing and withdraw consent. Email us to make a request. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).

We use only essential storage needed to keep you signed in and remember your settings. We do not use advertising cookies.

Vanalis is not intended for anyone under 16.
